Richard Elmo Brokamp, age 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered this life on September 9, 1952 in Greencastle, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Paul B. and Mildred Faye (Christopher) Brokamp. He was an avid sports fan. Richard absolutely loved the Chicago Bears. He was united in marriage to Deborah (Richmond) Brokamp on September 9, 1989 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Richard passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital – South Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In addition to his wife Deborah of 30 years, Richard is survived by his sisters, Gail, Paula, and Christine; his brothers, Dennis and Jimmy; and his step mother, Carole Brokamp.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care – Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Petty officiating. Burial will take place in Acton Cemetery, 7900 Acton Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46259.
